Cisco SPA504G Phone Locked

Step 1: Find the Phone’s IP Address

  1. Press the Paper button on the phone to open the Setup Menu.
  2. Press 3 to go to the Settings menu.
  3. Press 5 to go to the Network Configuration menu.
  4. Press 3 to display the IP address.
  5. Note the IP address shown on the screen.

Step 2: Log Into the Phone Interface

  1. Open a web browser on your computer and type the IP address you noted into the address bar.
  2. Enter user as the Username and the phone password, then proceed.
  3. Click on Admin Login.
  4. Enter admin as the Username and the phone password.

Step 3: Clear the User Password

  1. Click on Voice.
  2. Click on System.
  3. Clear the contents of the User Password field.
  4. Click Submit All Changes.

The phone will reboot and should no longer be locked after the changes are applied.
