How to Update Phone Buttons

  1. Log into the portal using your extension and domain as the username, along with your portal password.
  2. Click on the Inventory button.
  3. Click on the Phone Hardware tab under the Inventory bar.
  4. Click on the gear icon to the right of the extension you want to update. If the gear icon does not appear, you may need additional permissions or the phone model may not support this feature. Contact support with any questions.
  5. The first two lines should be set to Line Appearance with the extension number. Do not edit these.
  6. The remaining lines can be configured as one of the following:
    • User (BLF) – Enter the extension number. A custom label is optional unless you want it to differ from the name on the extension.
    • Speed Dial – Enter the number to dial out. Use the Custom Label field to identify the speed dial.
    • Call Park – Use 721 for Park 1 or 722 for Park 2.
  7. To add a sidecar, click Add Sidecar, select the appropriate model, and populate the lines as described above.
  8. When finished, click the arrow to the right of the Save button and select Save and Resync. This will push the updated configuration to the phone. Yealink phones will flash during the update and Polycom phones will reboot.
  9. Click Back to Inventory to return to the phone list.
